Bowery Bugs by Warner Bros Studio

This limited-edition celebrates the 1949 Merrie Melodies cartoon "Bowery Bugs" the first edition to honor the work of Warner Bros. director Art Davis. The artwork features Bugs Bunny as "Swami Rabbitima," one of the three disguises he uses to outwit the gullible Steve Brody. In this classic cartoon, Bugs sends Brody on a series of wild errands in search of good luck. Ultimately leading to a swan dive off the Brooklyn Bridge. This scene captures Bugs' clever and mischievous nature, a hallmark of Davis's dynamic storytelling and animation style.

Hand-painted Cel: This limited-edition cel was recreated from original animation drawings. The master character line was serigraph screen-printed onto an acetate sheet (or "cel" along with the official Warner Bros. Masters Collection/Art Davis seal. Each cel was then hand-painted on the reverse side. The background, inspired by the original cartoon, was reproduced using the lithography process on acid-free paper. Each piece is hand-numbered and approved and signed by Art Davis.
