Each piece in individually hand-crafted using a unique process called Chiarography - a blend of traditional printmaking and modern digital techniques. While the artwork may be part of a limited edition, no two prints are exactly alike.
The Process:
The artwork is printed on thick, archival-quality black paper. Each sheet is first hand-brushed with a basecoat, adding a textured backdrop unique to that piece. Then, using pigmented archival inks, the image is printed directly onto the hand-painted area. The result is a rich, layered effect with organic brush strokes visible around the edges creating a one-of-a-kind piece every time.
