The Golden Snitch is the smallest and most elusive ball used in Quidditch. About the size of a walnut, this gold-colored sphere with silver wings darts across the field at incredible speeds, occasionally stopping to hover. The Seeker’s objective is to catch the Snitch before their opponent, earning 150 points and typically ending the match. While games officially end when the Snitch is caught, a rare alternative is mutual agreement by both team Captains to conclude the match.
